A passionate journalist who writes full, dynamic, engaging articles and newscasts. Whether working in TV or print, I constantly strive to push the envelope and deliver the news in an innovative and creative way that always has the media landscape of the 2020s in mind. I have worked hard to bring to light important stories at the local and national levels on a wide range of topics -- from hard-hitting topics like politics and education to lighter topics like multicultural features.
Most recently, I worked at WISH-TV in Indianapolis where I produced the weekend 6:00, 10:00, and 11:00 p.m. broadcasts and served as the primary fill-in producer for the weekday programs -- producing newscasts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and even the station's afternoon lifestyle shows. Before coming to WISH-TV, I worked as a reporter at The Reporter-Times, a USA Today newspaper in Morgan County, Indiana. There, I wrote detailed recaps of local school board meetings, covered breaking news, wrote profiles on public figures, and published long-form feature pieces.
